We are proud to celebrate the successful completion of the Spoken English program delivered by Creating Futures at Byrathi School, and to see the consequence of our support on the student grades.

90% of the children who took part in this class come from migrant families, carrying with them the challenges that such journeys bring — displacement, adaptation, and often, significant gaps in their studentship.

Yet through dedication, hard work, and the support of teachers and volunteer from Creating Futures, these children proved that circumstances do not define potential. Their grades went from 11/40 to 34/40 — a leap that speaks louder than any words could.

Beyond the numbers, they gained something equally important — the confidence to speak up, to express themselves, and to believe in their own ability to learn and grow.

Congratulations to every child involved, and thank you to all who made this possible !

Creating Futures wishes you a happy World Book Day — a reminder that every book opened is a door to a new world. We believe that access to reading and education is one of the most powerful tools we can place in the hands of a child. Whether it sparks curiosity, builds knowledge, or simply brings joy, a book has the power to change a life. Happy World Book Day to all our readers, big and small ! And a big thank you to our partner, .books for their previous help with this powerful objective.

We’re happy to share that Creating Futures have successfully completed the ASP program at the Mylanahalli Center. The students’ enthusiasm, active participation, and steady progress made the experience truly special. Seeing their excitement and interest in learning reminded us why we do what we do .
Enthused by this success, we are excited to announce the start of our Summer Camp at the center — an opportunity for even more children in the community to get involved and be part of all the fun that happens at a Creating Futures Centre.
From learning new activities to making holidays productive and joyful, we can’t wait to welcome them !
Thank you for your continuous support.

Raziya Sultana, one of our tailoring trainers at Creating Futures, has successfully passed her 2nd PUC examinations, returning to academics after a long gap. Mother to 4 children, she balanced her professional responsibilities, academic preparation, and family commitments with remarkable perseverance and dedication.

Her achievement reflects the values she imparts to her students — that resilience and hard work can overcome any barrier. We are proud of you, Raziya! May you continue to grow, serve as an example and empower women.

Latha Rani, a 60-year-old widow and former garment industry worker, faced a significant professional setback when she stopped working because of her age. Rather than accepting this situation, she demonstrated remarkable resolve by enrolling in our tailoring program with the firm intention of maintaining her financial autonomy and avoiding reliance on her two sons.

Through consistent dedication and a disciplined approach to her training, she successfully completed the course and has since established herself as a practising tailor, providing stitching services to members of her community. She continues to exercise her craft with both dignity and self-sufficiency.

Latha Rani’s trajectory stands as a compelling testament to resilience in the face of adversity. At a stage of life where many would consider professional reinvention unlikely, she chose instead to invest in her own development. Her story carries an important message — that the pursuit of knowledge and self-reliance is not bound by age.

These bicycles will make a real difference in children’s daily lives : they will help students reach school on time, saving them long treks to school and waits at bus stops . These distributions were met with immense joy from students, parents, teachers, school principals, and community members alike.
