It starts with a conversation — in our streets, homes, schools, and communities.

Gender-based violence doesn’t appear out of nowhere. It takes root in silence, in harmful norms passed down without question, in the absence of safe spaces and awareness.

At Women’s Voice, we believe the most powerful tool for prevention is awareness — and the best time to start is young. That’s why we work with adolescent girls and boys from urban communities, to unpack what violence looks like, where it stems from, and how we can challenge it together.

Because when young people learn to question injustice, they grow into adults who can transform it.
