Child rights are in jeopardy, however, with your help, we can help protect India’s children.

Swakshatra Trust is a Bangalore based women & child rights organisation founded and led by Army veterans and members of the civil society.

By joining Swakshatra Trust, you get the opportunity to work and learn from experienced and committed people, while making a big difference in our country’s children’s life.

This child care institution registered under Juvenile Justice Act works for prevention, rescue and rehabilitation of girl children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation. This incorporates operating a Children’s Home as a healing space designed on the concept of Therapeutic Community and operating Setu Centre for Education & Vocational Training to build a future full of hope & happiness.

Last year, many of you came forward through our Her Independence fundraiser to support a dream - a safe space where rescued girls can heal, learn, and grow.

That dream is now taking shape. With the generous donation of land by Dr. Madhukar, and the dedication of many hands, the foundation for our new home is being laid on the outskirts of Bangalore.

This is more than just concrete and earthwork - it’s the beginning of futures rebuilt, hopes rekindled, and independence restored.
