A few moments from our recent CPR and First Aid Awareness session in Bengaluru ❤️‍🩹

Through practical demonstrations and hands-on CPR training, participants learned essential first aid and emergency response skills that can help them respond with greater confidence during a medical emergency.

From understanding CPR to learning basic first aid, the session focused on an important part of community health awareness — knowing what to do before professional medical help arrives.

We’re grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to making the session meaningful.

Health is wealth. Awareness is protection.

Lifesaving skills belong to everyone. ❤️‍🩹

In an emergency, the first person to respond may not always be a doctor or a healthcare professional. It could be someone who is already there — a security professional, a housekeeping team member, a colleague, or a neighbour.

We, Namjai Foundation in collaboration with Aayug Multi Speciality Hospital recently conducted a CPR & First Aid Awareness Session for our community’s security and housekeeping teams, creating an opportunity to learn essential CPR, basic first aid, and emergency response skills.

For us, this was more than a training session. It was about recognising the important role that everyday community members can play when someone needs immediate help.

A heartfelt thank you to every participant who took the time to learn, practise, and prepare. Your willingness to build these skills is a meaningful step towards creating a safer and more prepared community.

And to our healthcare partners and volunteers — thank you for helping us take lifesaving knowledge beyond hospitals and into the community. 🙏

Learn. Prepare. Respond. Save a Life.

Namjai Foundation, in collaboration with Aayug Multi Speciality Hospital, successfully conducted a CPR & Emergency First Aid Awareness Session in Bengaluru as part of the Namjai LifeSaver Initiative.

Today marks a proud milestone for Namjai Foundation as we successfully conducted our first CPR & Emergency First Aid Awareness Session in Bengaluru, in collaboration with Aayug Multi Speciality Hospital, under the Namjai LifeSaver Initiative.

Around 20 community members participated in this hands-on awareness session, learning essential life-saving skills including:
🫀 CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
🩹 Basic First Aid
🚨 Emergency Response
🤝 Choking Management

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and healthcare professionals from Aayug Multi Speciality Hospital for their invaluable guidance, and to the residents for their enthusiastic participation and commitment to learning skills that could one day help save a life.

This is just the beginning. Through the Namjai LifeSaver Initiative, we aim to take CPR and First Aid awareness to apartments, schools, colleges, workplaces, and communities across Bengaluru—because a prepared community is a safer community.

Together, let's build a community where more people are empowered to respond with confidence during emergencies.

💚 A few hours of volunteering. A lifetime of perspective.

Today, our volunteers had the opportunity to visit Karunashraya Hospice Trust in Bengaluru and gain a deeper understanding of hospice care and palliative care.

The experience began with an insightful orientation, followed by a hands-on volunteering activity preparing cotton balls used in patient care. While the task itself was simple, it served as a powerful reminder that meaningful community service is often found in the smallest acts of care.

Beyond volunteering, the visit offered valuable lessons in empathy, dignity, and the importance of supporting patients and families through some of life's most challenging moments.

We are grateful to the team at Karunashraya Hospice Trust for welcoming us and sharing their inspiring work in hospice and palliative care. A special thank you to Jaytika for coordinating this meaningful volunteering opportunity for our team.

At Namjai Foundation, we believe volunteering is not only about giving back, it is about learning, growing, and becoming more compassionate human beings.

Together, we continue to learn, serve, and create social impact in our communities. 💚

7 days. 18 volunteers. 32,000 meals packed. 🩵

This World Hunger Day, we’re reflecting on one of Namjai Foundation’s earliest community initiatives in Bangalore.

Last February, volunteers from different colleges, workplaces, and backgrounds came together with Rise Against Hunger India for a meal packaging drive focused on supporting families facing food insecurity.

For seven days, teams worked side by side — measuring, sealing, and packing fortified meals that later reached communities in need.

What stayed with us wasn’t only the number of meals packed.

It was the reminder that meaningful community support often begins with ordinary people simply choosing to show up.

As a growing healthcare NGO in Bangalore, experiences like these continue to shape how we think about hunger, health, and community care.

One meal. One camp. One step at a time. ❤️
