Indian Army as a civilian and thereafter worked for Birla and Tata group of companies. His interests were music, philosophy and helping the needy. Sri Ramachandra Sastry passed away on the 1st Sep. 2001. Jayamma was born in 1939 in Malur near Kolar, she had her schooling in Malur. She got married at a tender age of 15. Jayamma was a very dynamic and people oriented person and she had leadership qualities and was a guide and philosopher for families in the neighbor hood and among her relatives. She died on the 3rd Nov. 2012 The couple had a very soft corner towards students and people who were in difficulty. They always went beyond to help the needy
