🌱 **Anandyayana Break Activity at Shankara Gurukulam** 🌱

Yesterday, as part of the **Anandyayana Break**, our students enthusiastically participated in agricultural activities and planted a few saplings at the Gurukulam campus.

Such hands-on experiences help children connect with nature and the soil, instilling respect for the environment while nurturing responsibility and gratitude. These activities are an integral part of the holistic education at Shankara Gurukulam, fostering the physical, emotional, and spiritual development of every child.

May these saplings grow strong, just as our students continue to flourish with values rooted in our rich tradition. 🌿🙏

🙏 Adhika Māsa Ekādaśī Seva – Support Shankara Gurukulam 🙏

Adhika Māsa, also known as Purushottama Māsa, is a rare and sacred period dedicated to devotion, self-reflection, japa, seva, and dāna. Scriptures extol this month as especially auspicious for acts of charity and support of dharmic causes.

On this sacred Ekādaśī, we invite you to participate in the noble mission of Shankara Gurukulam by supporting the preservation and propagation of Sanātana Dharma through your contribution.

📖 Bhagavad Gītā 17.20

दातव्यमिति यद्दानं दीयतेऽनुपकारिणे ।
देशे काले च पात्रे च तद्दानं सात्त्विकं स्मृतम् ||

"Charity given at the proper place and time, to a worthy recipient, without expectation of return, is considered sāttvika dāna."

Your contribution, big or small, will help nurture Vedic learning and support the activities of the Gurukulam.

Today, Aavahanti Homa and Medha Sukta Homa were performed. At Shankara Gurukulam, these sacred rituals are conducted on every Pournami for the holistic development of knowledge, intellect, and wisdom in children. All preparations, including the prescribed japa, are diligently undertaken by the children themselves under the guidance and supervision of the Adhyapakas, nurturing discipline, devotion, self-confidence, and a deep foundation in Vedic learning.

Yesterday evening, the students of Shankara Gurukulam performed the auspicious Pradosha Puja during the sacred Adhika Maasa. The entire puja was organized and conducted by the students themselves, who took responsibility for every aspect of the event—from the initial preparations and arrangements to the successful ex*****on of the rituals under the able guidance of the Adhyapakas.

May the blessings of Lord Shiva guide and inspire all in the pursuit of dharma and knowledge.
