We sincerely appreciate the dedicated efforts of the District Administration Bandipora , under the dynamic and visionary leadership of the Worthy Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Indu Kanwal Chib Ji, JKAS, for spearheading this important waste management initiative. Such proactive measures reflect a strong commitment towards environmental protection and sustainable development.

JKSWM extends its wholehearted support and cooperation to this noble initiative. Our volunteers will always remain available to assist and collaborate with the District Administration in all such public welfare and environmental conservation efforts.

Today's takes us to Wular Lake in Jammu & Kashmir.

The name Wular comes from the Sanskrit word "volla", meaning "turbulent", reflecting the lake's often choppy waters.

Local folklore also speaks of Wular Raz, the lake's presiding deity, while the sacred floating island of Zainul Lank continues to draw pilgrims and visitors alike.

Alhamdulillah, we are releive to confirm that Advocate Ab Rashid Khan Sahib is safe after a minor car accident at Ajas, Bandipora, caused by slippery road conditions. The vehicle suffered slight damage, but thankfully there were no serious injuries.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s concern and prayers.
May Allah protect us all from unforeseen incidents. Ameen.
