Earlier it was a group under PRATEEDHANI NGO, now MSKETS is an independent non-governmental organisation conducting Forest and Wildlife conservation activities in two different Forest Ranges consist with local volunteers, in Batabari and Kumarikata Forest Range under Baksa Division.

🇮🇳 Celebrating Freedom and Conservation at MSKETS!

The MSKETS proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day today across our three campuses: Bhutankhuti, Sibrubari and Madhupur!

The flag-hoisting ceremonies brought together our dedicated community, including conservation volunteers, executives, team leaders, official staff and nearby villagers.

Gathering under the green canopy reminded us of our vital responsibility to safeguard both our nation's freedom and its irreplaceable biodiversity. Together, we proudly renew our commitment to community-led conservation and sustainable socioeconomic development in the eastern part Manas region.

A huge thank you to everyone who stood with us today to honor our nation and our green future!

The closing ceremony of the 77th Van Mahotsav and the "Janmadin Seuj Sapath Udyan" programme concluded on a green note today in Baksa district with an impactful plantation drive at Sibrubari near Batabari Reserve Forest.

Collaborative Effort: A special drive of approximately 150 saplings was successfully planted through a joint initiative of the Baksa Forest Division and MSKETS.

Manpower Support: Ground volunteers and vital manpower support for the program were proudly provided by the MSKETS.

The event was graced by the honorable DFO Sir of Baksa Forest Division and the honorable Ranger Sir of Batabari Forest Range.

Let us all pledge to nurture these saplings and protect our environment for a greener tomorrow!

We are thrilled to announce the Prizemoney Football Tournament, organized by Jangalbasti J.B. Football Club and sponsored by MSKETS.

Today, MSKETS spearheads major conservation initiatives in the region, such as leading massive community tree plantation drives to restore critical animal migration corridors and supporting anti-poaching forces near the Manas Tiger Reserve. By organizing this tournament, we use sports as a tool to unite local communities under the banner of environmental awareness.

This special tournament is dedicated to the legendary freedom fighter, Dharti Aba Birsha Munda. 🏹

Celebrating World Environment Day 2026: Restoring Manas Tiger Reserve! 🌿🐅

The World Environment Day (WED 2026) celebration at Sibrubari Chowk, Batabari RF was a massive success! Organized by the Baksa Forest Division and Manas Sousi Khonkhor Eco Tourism Society (MSKETS), the event officially kicked off a month-long plantation drive targeting 1.5 lakh saplings to revive degraded animal corridors in the Manas Tiger Reserve.

The event was graced by Shri Augustus Tigga (EM & MCLA, 23 Dihira), Smti Kimnei Changsan IAS (DC Baksa), Shri Moon Singh Brahma (Ex MCLA), Shri Dhirendra Nath Basumatary (DFO Baksa), and Dr. Pranjal Bezbarua (ASTEC Guwahati).
Local administration, SSB personnel, village communities, students, volunteers, and well-wishers united under this year's theme: "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future."

The day featured a highly successful tree plantation drive, inspiring speeches from invited guests, local leaders, and interactive climate awareness sessions.

A Heartfelt Thank You 🙏A huge shoutout to the DFO and his dedicated staff, our partner organizations, FRC groups, ADS groups, and local villagers for supporting MSKETS in making this ambitious environmental milestone a reality. As part of the month-long plantation drive, we visited the Baksa DC Office today to hand over nearly 200 saplings for the entire staff to plant across the campus.

A special thank you to the District Commissioner (DC Madam) for her warm reception and support, and to the Baksa Forest Division for joining us at the event. Together, we can make our workspaces greener and more sustainable!

Today, we visited the fringe villages of Daodhara to host a special Plantation cm Distribution Program.

We paired environmental action with education by distributing:
• 🌱 Fresh saplings for the future
• 📝 Notebooks, pens, and pencils for school children
• 🍫 Chocolates for bright smiles!

Our team spent time talking with the children and locals about deforestation and pressing environmental issues. Protecting our green canopy starts with educating and empowering the next generation.

Towards a Wilder, Greener Manas 🌱
On 12/05/2026, we came together at Nwlwbari, Sepna FRC for a plantation programme dedicated to the revival of degraded animal corridors in Manas Tiger Reserve.

This event marks the beginning of our month-long plantation drive from 1st May to 5th June 2026, with an ambitious target of planting 1.5 lakh saplings across the landscape. The initiative, jointly organised by Baksa Forest Division & MSKETS NGO, saw active participation from Bhuyanpara Forest Range, Salbari Forest Range, MMES and Sepna FRC.

Restoring these corridors isn’t just about planting trees — it’s about reconnecting habitats, protecting wildlife, and securing a future where humans and nature thrive together. Every sapling we plant today is a step towards a healthier ecosystem for tigers, elephants, deers and countless other species that call Manas home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this mission. Together, we are restoring corridors, protecting wildlife, and securing our future. 💚

Commemorating International Labour Day through Conservation 🌍Proud to announce the inauguration of a month-long Plantation & Weeding Program organized by Baksa Forest Division and MSKETS NGO. Our focus is the restoration of degraded animal corridors within the Manas Tiger Reserve.With a target of 150,000 saplings, this initiative aims to create a sustainable future for our local wildlife and ecosystem.
