Today marks the 107th remembrance of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre — a day forever etched in the heart of our nation.

On April 13, 1919, thousands gathered peacefully at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar to mark the occasion of Baisakhi and raise their voices against injustice. Without warning, the exits were blocked, and brutal firing was unleashed upon the unarmed crowd. Hundreds lost their lives within minutes, shocking the conscience of the world.

🇮🇳 VALOUR DAY: THE HEROIC SAGA OF SARDAR POST (APRIL 9, 1965) 🇮🇳
Today, the Sri Sri Sri Ramanujacharyula Trust solemnly commemorates Valour Day (Shaurya Diwas) — a historic moment where courage triumphed over overwhelming odds.
📍 Where did this happen?
The battle took place at Sardar Post, in the salt flats of the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
In this harsh and unforgiving terrain, a small group of brave personnel stood as the nation’s first line of defence.
📜 The Historic Battle — At a Glance
• The Attack:
On the night of April 8–9, 1965, the Pakistani Army (~3,500 personnel) launched a massive surprise assault.
• The Defence:
Only about 150 personnel from the 2nd Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were stationed there.
• The Odds:
Outnumbered nearly 20 to 1.
• The Result:
Despite lacking heavy weaponry, our brave personnel fought for over 12 hours, successfully repelling the enemy.
• The Sacrifice:
Six brave CRPF personnel made the ultimate sacrifice for the motherland.

Born as Vardhamana in the 6th century BCE at Kshatriya Kundalagrama (near Vaishali, Bihar), he was a prince of royal lineage.
