Pavilion of Tibetan Culture in International Zone of Auroville was built in 6th July 1997. In 2009 the construction of the building is completed and His holiness Dalia Lama has inaugurated the building. Today pavilion of Tibetan Culture is one of the first complete building in an International zone of Auroville.Pavilion of Tibetan Culture host no of events, workshops and accommodate people from di
fferent walks of life. The ground floor has the reception, office, The library, Multipurpose hall, An exhibition hall, dinning hall for the residence, care taker room and the public rest rooms. On the second floor the four dormitory rooms with the bath rooms attached, conference hall and a small meditation hall. Regular events are the visits of the Tibetan Doctor Mentsekhang from Chennia on every 4th Saturdays of the month.
