Twenty-six farmers under the NABARD-funded TRIBES Project in Thrizino Block, West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh, successfully completed a two-day Educational Exposure Visit on 19–20 May 2026. The exposure visit aimed to help farmers gain practical knowledge on modern scientific methods of litchi cultivation, observe best practices in orchard management such as planting, pruning, irrigation, and nutrient management, and understand integrated pest and disease management techniques in litchi orchards. The farmers also interacted with scientists, experts, and progressive farmers for knowledge exchange and problem-solving. The visit encouraged the adoption of improved technologies to enhance productivity and farmers’ income, created awareness on government schemes and support services for horticulture development, and promoted entrepreneurial skills and horticulture-based livelihood opportunities among the farmers.
