🚴🇮🇳 World Bicycle Day 2026 Celebration 🇮🇳🚶

On the occasion of World Bicycle Day (3rd June 2026), My Bharat (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India) in collaboration with The Yuva Unity Foundation, Ambernath, successfully organized a Cycle Rally & Padyatra to spread awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable living.

A total of 30 young cyclists participated in the Cycle Rally, while 25 youngsters joined the Padyatra. Carrying the National Flag with pride, participants marched through Palegaon and Juna Ambernath Gaon, delivering important messages on fuel conservation, water conservation, environmental protection, and the benefits of eco-friendly transportation.

The event was graced by District Youth Officer Manisha Sharma Mam and Jyoti Mam from My Bharat, who encouraged and motivated the youth to become active contributors towards nation-building and environmental sustainability.

The rally was led by Yogesh Chalwadi, President of The Yuva Unity Foundation, along with Ankita Thokal, Working President, and was supported by dedicated volunteers committed to creating positive social change.

This initiative highlighted the power of youth participation and reinforced the message that small actions, such as choosing bicycles and conserving natural resources, can make a significant difference in building a cleaner, greener, and healthier India.

🌊 Yuva Jaldindi Abhiyan 2026 – Day 1 Report 🌊

The 5-Day Residential Camp of Yuva Jaldindi Abhiyan 2026 was successfully inaugurated at AMC School No. 10, Palegaon with the participation of 50 enthusiastic young volunteers.

Organized by MY Bharat (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India), YASHDA, UNICEF Maharashtra, in collaboration with The Yuva Unity Foundation, the campaign aims to create awareness about water conservation and sustainable water management.

The inaugural session was graced by Shri Shashikant Dayma Ji (Founder, Save Waldhuni River Campaign) as Guest of Honour, Manisha Sharma Mam (District Youth Officer, MY Bharat), Yogesh Chalwadi (President, The Yuva Unity Foundation), along with respected media representatives Ajay Sharma Ji and Sheetal Ji, whose presence encouraged the young participants.

All participants completed registration and received camp kits including T-shirts, caps, folders, pens, and notepads. The day featured orientation sessions, team-building activities, and planning for outreach programs across 8 villages through street plays, awareness rallies, cultural performances, and village surveys focused on water conservation.
