Your support helped us share the voices and struggles of hardworking roadside vendors, while spreading Rotary’s message of compassion, dignity, and service to the wider community.

Together, we are not just highlighting an initiative—we are helping Create Lasting Impact by protecting livelihoods, inspiring kindness, and bringing hope to many families.

When the rain comes, a street vendor should not have to choose between protecting their livelihood and protecting themselves. ☂️💙

Rotary Club of Prayagraj Platinum had the privilege of distributing big umbrellas to deserving roadside thela and cart vendors—our hardworking community members who stand every day under the sun, rain, and uncertainty to support their families.

For them, an umbrella is not merely shelter; it is protection for their goods, continuity for their work, and hope that a rainy day will not take away their daily income. The smiles and relief on their faces reminded us that even a simple act of service can bring dignity, confidence, and comfort to many families.

We are truly grateful to our District Secretary, Club President Rtn. Ajay Sharma and Club Secretary Rtn. Pramay Mittal for spearheading this meaningful project.

Heartfelt gratitude to every Platinum Family Member whose support, presence, and generosity made this initiative a beautiful expression of Rotary’s compassion.

Together, we are not only distributing umbrellas—we are helping protect dreams, livelihoods, and smiles, while continuing to Create Lasting Impact in our community.

“Service Above Self” — We live it. We serve it. 🇮🇳☂️

A Small Thread from Us, A Big Strength for You! 🇮🇳🎀

Rotary Prayagraj Platinum celebrated Raksha Bandhan with love, creativity, and patriotism! 💙💛

In association with Srinivasa Ramanujan Public School, Civil Lines, Prayagraj, our club organised a special Rakhi Making Competition where young students from four groups showcased their amazing creativity. Eight prizes were awarded to encourage their beautiful efforts! 🏆✨

The programme was graced by District Secretary & Club President Rtn. Ajay Sharma, Club Secretary Rtn. Pramay Mittal, Club Treasurer Rtn. Apurva (also Vice Chairman of the school), Rtn. Alpana Sharma, Rtn. Neha Jaiswal, and 12 wonderful Rotarians of our Platinum family.

But the real magic happened when our Rotarians and the children visited Old Cantt., Teliyarganj, Prayagraj, and tied their handmade Rakhis to the brave personnel of our Defence Forces. 🇮🇳 The smiles, the warmth, and the gratitude in the air made this celebration truly emotional and unforgettable.

This beautiful initiative brought together creativity, cultural values, patriotism, and community service, while giving our young ones a chance to say thank you to the real heroes who protect our nation every single day.

Rotary Prayagraj Platinum salutes the courage, dedication, and selfless service of our Defence Forces! 🙏💙
