Background of the organization
Genesis:
GRAMIN MAHILA VIKAS SANSTHAN is Civil Society Organization that works largely with local communities on initiatives linked to their social empowerment and livelihood support. It’s diverse and wide ranging interventions includes, among others, Health, education, child care, environment protection, water conservation, gender issues and economic empowerment
of women. It began its work during the year 1997 and currently spread over to 135 rural villages forming part of Srinagar, Silora ,kekri and Bhinay Panchayat Samitis of Ajmer district in Rajasthan. Statute:
We are formally registered under the Provisions of Rajasthan Societies Registration Act (Act-28) of 1958 vide Regd. No. 52 of 1998/99 and is permitted to receive Foreign Contributions vide FCRA No.125410040 and TAN No. JDHG10077E Assigned by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. We have Tax exempt status u/sec-12 AA and 80-G of the Income Tax Act-1961

Establishing thrift and credit societies and imparting managerial skills to women for income generation. Employment, income generation and skill development programmes for the rural people. Child development through focus over child rights
