📢 Important Update for Tax Professionals & the CA Fraternity

The Income Tax Bar Association (ITBA), Ahmedabad has filed a Writ Petition before the Hon’ble Gujarat High Court seeking a directive to the CBDT for extension of due dates for Tax Audit Reports (TAR) and Income Tax Returns (ITR) in audited cases.

⚖️ The matter is now listed for hearing on 26th September 2025.

🔹 The petition emphasizes the genuine hardships faced by professionals and taxpayers due to compressed timelines and delayed availability of utilities.
🔹 The extension sought is in the interest of compliance, quality of reporting, and the well-being of professionals who are committed to strengthening the nation’s tax framework.
