ITSA adapts various tools created by global institutions including the Institute for Writing & Thinking at Bard College, Training for Change and the Entrepreneurship Incubation Lab at Indian Institute of Management (IIM-A) to foster the thinking and organizing skills in our students. ITSA Change Champions:
1. Social Action Boot Camp:
-Led by energetic and dynamic workshop facilitators students
reflect upon complex ideas on social change and identity utilizing writing and thinking methodology conceived by Bard College’s Institute for Writing & Thinking.
-Students are trained in community organizing through methods created by the organization Training For Change.
2. Community Partner Internship: Students select a social issue of their interest and we place them with one of our NGO partners in Ahmedabad. Students commit to working with an organization for eight hours per month for 5 months to get a sense of the field. ITSA Innovators:
