We’re deeply grateful to be featured in Hindustan Times, Delhi, on National Handloom Day, alongside voices working to give textile waste a second life.

At Upraant, upcycling is more than keeping fabric away from landfills. It is about turning waste into craft, skills into livelihoods, and women from humble backgrounds into proud artisans.

Every stitch carries a story. Every rescued piece of fabric carries possibility.

Consumers today are no longer buying only a product—they are investing in a story, a purpose, and the people behind it.

People increasingly ask: Who made this? What materials were used? What impact does my purchase create? This shift is encouraging because it values transparency, craftsmanship, and human connection over fast consumption.

When someone chooses an Upraant product, they are supporting a woman artisan, reducing textile waste, and becoming part of a circular economy. That emotional connection is the biggest change we’ve witnessed.
