Africa 3030 Africa 3030 supports children and wildlife in Africa "Africa 2030" is a grassroots organization, established in 2014, in Israel.

Its members include an international group of people – African and non-African – who care deeply about Africa's future and want to help both people and wildlife, which the organization sees as interconnected. "Africa 2030" believes there is only one long-term, sustainable solution to Africa's current challenges – to support and develop local community and environmental leadership that will lead lo

cal communities and the environment to prosperity. "Africa 2030" identifies local leaders – community activists and conservationists – and provides them with the necessary tools and support necessary to achieve their goals. Driven by the belief that the future of the environment depends on people and the future of people depends on the environment, "Africa 2030" seeks to develop projects that promote both in a harmonious and mutually beneficial way. We truly believe that Africa has the potential of becoming a prosperous, ecologically balanced continent, which could serve as a model for the entire world.

Sometimes the most powerful solutions are also the simplest.

Through Umoja, Africa 3030’s new agricultural project, landless families in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo received access to a small plot of land and seeds.

Just a few months later, they harvested beans and maize, kept enough food for their families, and sold the surplus. On average, each family earned about $200 from this first harvest—more than many would typically earn from agricultural labor in an entire year.

Sometimes, changing a family’s future begins with removing just one obstacle. 🌱

The recent Ebola outbreak in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo has now reached the communities where Africa 3030 works.

We were quick to act. Together with IsraAID and WaterStep, we have launched an innovative Ebola prevention initiative that combines community education with the local production of chlorine disinfectant for handwashing and sanitation. Using WaterStep's innovative technology, our team will produce hundreds of liters of concentrated disinfectant each day using nothing more than water, salt, and electricity.

Over the coming months, our team will work with hospitals, health centers, markets, local leaders, and vulnerable households—reaching tens of thousands of people.

Our first training took place this week. More updates soon!
