Nazareth Charter

Nazareth Charter The Nazareth Charter was promulgated by the Nazarani Church in 2012, and has since been ratified by a number of Nazarani organizations and NGO's.

The purpose was to create a human rights charter that addresses all human rights, not just the few targeted by the current secular humanist and Islamic charters which are now embraced by various nations. We wanted something more authentic, more real, which could be universally applied by just societies and governments worldwide, which respected not only economic rights, but also the fundamental ri

ght to life. At its base, the Nazareth Charter seeks seek the betterment of humankind and equality of all people under the law, everywhere in the world, as well as the fundamental right to self-determination as a basis of human rights law. It is the most complete expression of human rights ever written and promulgated by any organization or body in the world. Beginning with the right to life, without which no other rights may exist, the Charter outlines the equality of people and economic rights which are missing in such documents such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (which is the primary document under which the United Nations is supposed to regard human rights).
