This week is building brotherhood through service.

After spending a week volunteering on the JSA trip himself, Andrew, AEPi’s Director of Campus Life, saw firsthand the impact of meaningful service in Israel — and couldn’t wait to bring this opportunity to the brothers, “This is who we are, this is what we stand for”.

Now, in collaboration with , , and , AEPi members are arriving for a week of volunteering, learning, and engaging with communities across Israel through hands-on service and shared experiences.

We’re extending the deadline for the Yahel Social Change Fellowship — so if you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it.

Spend 9 months living in Israel alongside a diverse cohort of peers while volunteering in local communities, exploring the complexities of Israeli society, traveling across the country, and building meaningful connections along the way.

From community centers and schools to shared Shabbat dinners, hikes, and unforgettable moments with your cohort, the fellowship is about diving in fully and experiencing and making an impact in Israel in a deeply meaningful way.

Recently, we welcomed one of the most unique Olim Shalav cohorts.

13 Olim from Russia, Argentina, France, Germany, and the US have chosen to begin their lives in Israel during one of the country’s hardest moments, and to do so not from the sidelines, but through community, volunteering, and action.

Together, they’re joining the Yahel community in Haifa to help create positive change in the place they now call home.

We’re excited to walk this journey with them.

Josh came to Israel looking for something deeper than a typical experience abroad.

Through the Yahel Social Change Fellowship, he found himself immersed in the complexity of Israeli society, not only its culture, food, and people, but also the challenges communities are navigating in this moment.
From volunteering on the ground to traveling through the country.
“However small the deed or the act, it’s very much valued here.”
At a time when so many communities still need support, showing up with openness, curiosity, and willingness to help has never been more important.
