A truly unforgettable day at Neve Michael Children’s Village as our 17 B’nei Mitzvah boys and girls celebrated this meaningful milestone together. The day began with a joyful celebration at Neve Michael, followed by a special visit to the Kotel in Jerusalem together with family members and staff to pray and give thanks. The celebration concluded with a festive dinner filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness. For many of our children, these moments create lifelong memories and a deep sense of belonging and hope. Heartfelt thanks to all of our generous supporters who helped make this very special day possible.

At Neve Michael Children’s Village, our children celebrated Yom Yerushalayim with joy, learning, and togetherness! The children participated in a fun and competitive game all about Jerusalem , its history, landmarks, traditions, and special place in the heart of the Jewish people. Afterwards, everyone gathered together for a festive meal filled with laughter, friendship, and celebration.
Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day) commemorates the reunification of Jerusalem following the Six-Day War in 1967 and celebrates the deep historical and spiritual connection of the Jewish people to the city.
From all of us at Neve Michael, we wish everyone a peaceful and joyful Shabbat Shalom and a wonderful weekend wherever you may be.

During the war, when weddings were being postponed and uncertainty filled daily life, Neve Michael opened its doors to host a small, intimate wedding for a soldier and a staff member. The celebration became a powerful symbol of love and resilience, made even more meaningful by the bride’s family connection to Neve Michael spanning over 40 years.
In a time of hardship, the event brought warmth, unity, and hope to both staff and children, showing that even amid conflict, life, love, and new beginnings continue.
Wishing you Shabbat Shalom from Neve Michael's children!
