לב משה נוסד על ידי משפחת פנישל בשנת 2013 לזכרו של משה פנישל, ז"ל.
משה היה בעל אוהב ומסור לדבי. אב לצבי, אילנית ונתנאל. בנו של הרב שמעון ז"ל ונעמי פנישל, ואח לדבי גרינשפאן.
פניו המחייכות של משה שיקפו את אהבת החיים שלו. ההנאה הגדולה ביותר שלו הייתה לבלות את זמנו עם משפחתו, ולצפות בהם גדלים ופורחים. הוא חסר מאוד לכולם.
בכ"ז בתשרי, תשע"ב (25/10/11), בשעה 9:00 בבוקר, משה חיכה מחוץ לבנק בירושלים ממתין
שהדלתות ייפתחו. הוא היה בדרכו לשלוח את ההזמנות לחתונת בתו. בעת שישב על ספסל מחוץ לבנק, הוא סבל מדום לב פתאומי וכתוצאה מכך התמוטט.
לאחר מספר רגעים, עוברי אורח הבינו שמשהו לא בסדר והתקשרו במהירות 101 למד"א. כשהגיעו כוחות ההצלה, למרבה הצער, זה היה מאוחר מדי. משה נזקק לטיפול מידי, שוק מדפיברילטור יכול היה אולי להציל את חייו אם היה ניתן בזמן. לסובבים אותו לא היתה המודעות לכך שצריך דפיברילטור במצב כזה, היכן ניתן להשיגו, וכיצד לתפעל אותו.
לזכרו, משפחתו הקימה את פרוייקט "לב משה." מטרתו היא להעלות את המודעות למחלות לב ודום לב, הגובים את חייהם של יותר מ8,000- אנשים בישראל מידי שנה.
פרויקט לב משה, שם כמטרה העיקרית שלו ללמד אנשים וקהילות בישראל להכיר בתסמינים של דום לב ולהשתמש בדפיברילטור חיצוני אוטומטי (AED) ולבצע החייאה בסיסית במידת הצורך, דבר שכל אחד יכול לעשות!
מטרה נוספת היא לרכוש דפיברילטורים רבים ככל האפשר ולהפיץ אותם במקומות ציבוריים, כגון בתי כנסת, מרכזים קהילתיים ועוד.
לב משה הוא פרויקט של קרן יוסף, ארגון הנותן מענה רפואי משודרג באמצעות רכבי חירום רפואיים, ציוד והדרכה לשירותי החירום ומגישי העזרה הראשונה.

Moshe was a loving and devoted husband to Debbie; father of Tzvi, Ilanit and Netanel. He was the son of Rabbi Seymour z”l and Naomi Fenichel and brother of Debbie Greenspan. Moshe’s smiling face reflected his love of life. His greatest pleasure was spending his time with his family; watching them grow and flourish. He is missed dearly by all. On October 25, 2011 (27 Tishrei, 5772), at 9am, Moshe was outside of a bank in Jerusalem waiting for the doors to open. He was on his way to mail the wedding invitations to his daughter’s wedding. While sitting on a bench outside the bank, he suddenly suffered cardiac arrest and collapsed. Bystanders soon realized that something was wrong and quickly called an ambulance. Tragically, it was too late. Moshe needed immediate treatment; a shock from a defibrillator might have saved his life if administered in time. Those around him did not have the medical awareness to know that a defibrillator was needed. In his memory, his family has created Lev Moshe. Its goal is to raise awareness of heart disease and cardiac arrest, which claim more than 8,000 lives in Israel every year. Lev Moshe has as its primary goal to teach individuals and communities in Israel to recognize symptoms of cardiac arrest and to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED) and perform basic CPR if needed. This is something that anyone can be trained to do! An additional goal is to purchase as many defibrillators as possible and distribute them in public places, e.g. shuls, community centers etc. Lev Moshe is a project of Keren Yosef, an organization providing and upgrading medical response through the provision of emergency medical vehicles, equipment and training to the emergency services.
