ART ISRAEL is a new, open-submission, inclusive and far-reaching curated annual national event in Jerusalem, launching for the first time in The Hanger at Jerusalem's First Station in September 2016. This dynamic initiative offers every Israeli citizen and permanent resident, both nationally and globally, a chance to show their Art, whatever the discipline. ART ISRAEL guarantees equal opportunity
for every submitting artist to exhibit and sell their Art. Every work submitted via our responsive website will be viewed anonymously by a 9-strong Selection Committee of 8 highly-respected art professionals plus one Bezalel Academy graduate, who will democratically select and curate the works within 9 interwoven but self-contained gallery areas, occupying 1,800 square meters installed within the specially-constructed space. Sponsored prizes will be awarded on the basis of the specific categories shown, based on public vote, Committee selection and sponsorship. ART ISRAEL is based on the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in Piccadilly, London, which has run successfully for 247 consecutive years.
