🥹AN EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE TO NOVA VICTIM YONATAN SAMERANO

Jewish Breaking News correspondent Lielle Blinkoff attended an emotional Hachnasat Sefer Torah in memory of Yonatan Samerano, who fled the Nova Festival on October 7, was murdered near Kibbutz Be’eri, and whose body was taken hostage to Gaza.

The evening brought together Yonatan’s family and friends, including former hostages Omer Shem Tov, Itay and Maya Regev, Bar Kupershtein’s father, and former Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi David Lau.

The Sefer Torah was donated by Dani and Bari Erber as part of their initiative to write Sifrei Torah at the Nova site, transforming a place of tragedy into one of Torah and remembrance.

A special thank you to Aish HaTorah and Osim Sameach for helping make this incredible evening possible.

Remembering Yonatan and choosing to keep living, dancing, and carrying his memory forward. 💙🇮🇱

❤️‍🩹WATCH: Eliyahu has been in the hospital battling cancer for five very difficult weeks.

Today, the Bnot sherut "עושים שמח לגוף ולנשמה" got to spend time with him. We talked, put on his favorite music, and danced together.

Never could have expected what happened next, when he started saying Shema with tears in his eyes. 🥹❤️

Such a special moment we’ll never forget.

During the war, we wanted to give a small moment of relief to the medical staff, who work around the clock with dedication and immense strength. We brought a food cart with meat dishes hamburgers, Jerusalem mixed grill, and more good food to bring some joy, offer support, and say a small thank you for the work and heart they give every single day ❤️
