Save the tomato harvest from being wasted.

Produce high-quality Palestinian tomato juice and paste.

📢 Support Palestinian Farmers 🌱🍅

Due to closures and the lack of vegetable purchases, especially tomatoes, and with prices ranging only between $1.5 – $3 per box, farmers are facing huge losses despite all their hard work throughout the season.

✊ But we did not lose hope!
We found a new way to support farmers by purchasing tomato processing machines to produce juice and paste, and package them in bottles and jars.

This step will help:
✅ Save the tomato harvest from going to waste.
✅ Create new job opportunities for local people.
✅ Support farmers to continue their agricultural work.

🔴 We need to purchase 2 of these machines to start the project.
Every contribution, big or small, is a direct support for the resilience of Palestinian farmers.

🍅 Together, we can turn this crisis into an opportunity and protect the hard work of our farmers.

📍 Tomato Harvest from Palestine – Beit Ummar / Hebron

The tomatoes you see in the market come with a long story of hard work and dedication: plowing, planting, watering, and daily care. Behind every box are farmers and workers – thousands of unsung heroes who spend months under the sun, through heat and cold, to bring this harvest to the people.

And despite all this effort, due to the closures, the price of a 12 kg box of tomatoes has dropped to only 5 shekels – about 1.5 USD. Months of hard work gone to waste… a truly heartbreaking reality.

A Day of Hope and Connection in Beit Ummar 🌿🇵🇸

On a bright and beautiful day, the town of Beit Ummar warmly welcomed a wonderful group of friends from Singapore, who came to witness the daily life of Palestinian farmers and experience the resilience and creativity rooted in this land.

The visit began with a warm reception organized by Beit Ummar Fair Trade in collaboration with Al-Shoroq Association, where guests were greeted with traditional Arabic coffee and fresh mint tea — a symbol of our heartfelt hospitality.

Guests then took part in a grape seedling planting activity, joining local farmers in nurturing the land with hope and solidarity. Every plant was a message of support and connection that crossed borders.

The group toured the old town and explored its history and cultural richness, stopping by a local fair showcasing handmade Palestinian products — including embroidery, ceramics, beaded jewelry, and artisan crafts made with love.

The day ended on a joyful note with traditional Palestinian music, featuring live tabla and folkloric instruments. The rhythms brought smiles and movement, uniting hearts through the language of music.

The highlight of the meal was a delicious Palestinian feast featuring authentic Hebron-style Qidra and trays of baked Kofta with meat and potatoes — dishes rich in heritage and flavor, served with love and pride.

It was a memorable visit filled with stories, warmth, and shared dreams. It strengthened the bonds between Palestine and Singapore, and reminded us that solidarity and kindness are the true roots of peace.
