Hi all!

I’ve done a major rehaul of the Pinat Ahava library (Yavne 8/2) in the past week, and have added over 500 books, with another 1000 or so on the way 😱
I’m starting a WhatsApp group where I’ll post all new books as I add them. (Don’t worry, they’ll still be posted here as well!)

📚 Pinat Ahava is a lending library in Ramat Shiloh in loving memory of Ahava Emunah Lange a’h, that was started with a box of books in April 2020, and today has over 15,000 books in circulation!

📚 Pinat Ahava is located in the parking spot of Yavne 8/2 and is open 24/7.
(Please park on Tzeilim when visiting)

📚 A map to our library:
First 5 shelves on the right: Fiction
Last shelf on right: Sci-fi & Fantasy
Back wall (L to R): Non-fiction, Young Adult, Kids English, Hebrew (mostly kids, some adult)
Left: Crime/Suspense

📚 We post pictures of all new books added weekly here, so follow us to be the first to see which books are new to the library. (Or on Facebook)

📚 You can sign out as many books at a time as you’d like, just *please be sure to return them* when you’re done so others can enjoy!

📚 Help us keep our library organized by returning your books to the proper labeled shelves. If the shelves are full, please put returns ONLY in the boxes marked “RETURN” on top of the shelves. (Boxes on their sides are overflows for the cabinets under them and should not be used for returns.)

📚 *Please, please, PLEASE don’t leave returns on the table, and close all cabinet doors when you’re done visiting!*

📚 We do have a sign out notebook, but you can always stack your books and take a picture and send it to me on WhatsApp at: 052-951-4400

📚 We love any and all book donations you’d like to donate! You can leave them on top of the shelves or next to the shelves in bags. *No sifrei kodesh, resource books, textbooks, picture books, or magazines, please!*

📚 Any doubles or overflow we receive always find a good home at the lending libraries around the country as well as at Kfar Shaul and Eitanim hospitals.

📚 We’re working on a virtual book sale option where we’ll offer certain books for sale to help offset the cost of upkeep of the library.

📚 As always, a huge thank you to the volunteers who come and help straighten up and organize on a constant basis. I appreciate you more than you know!

Hi library friends!

Looking to make space for over 500+ books that are in my house waiting to make it into the library. (My family begs you for your help in this matter! 🙈)

I'm wondering if there would be an interest for a book sale, with all proceeds to go to the library upkeep? This would include books currently in the library, and lots of newer titles I have that haven't make it into the library yet.

I'm thinking of: Either a day where you can stop by and browse, or maybe an online list where you can browse and reserve books, pay and come pickup, or we could drop-off locally (for a fee).

Would love your input!

These donations were dropped off in the last half hour. While I appreciate donations please, please, PLEASE don’t do this. Have the courtesy to me and others to leave them in bags or boxes when you drop off.

Oh boy was it a messy library today!!

Good news is that all back shelves: kids, YA, non-fiction and Hebrew have been cleaned out, all broken shelves fixed and reinforced, and ready for you!

Please help us keep it neat and clean by returning books to the shelves you borrowed them from, and remind kids to not lean on, or press down on the shelves so they don’t keep breaking.
