השנה זכינו לתמיכה מטוטו, עבור פרויקט שמחבר ילדים יהודים וערבים דרך ספורט, ובעיקר דרך טניס.

אנחנו עובדים כבר 25 שנה באזור חוף הכרמל, ומביאים ילדים מג'יסר א-זרקא, פוריידיס, ישובי חוף הכרמל + האשכול בפרדס חנה, זכרון יעקב, בנימינה וכל האזור – לשחק טניס, לעשות ספורט, ללמוד ולעבוד ביחד.

זו הייתה שנה מאוד מאתגרת. היו אזעקות, מלחמות, והיינו צריכים שוב ושוב לפתוח את הפעילות, לסגור, ואז לפתוח מחדש. גם במלחמה עם איראן.

אבל למרות הכול, הצלחנו לשמור על רצף של פעילות, על הרבה ילדים, ובעיקר על אווירה טובה, מכבדת ומעודדת.

איזו דרך מרגשת לסיים את השנה! 🎾❤️

בטקס סיום השנה של מועדון הטניס והקהילה היהודי־ערבי שלנו, חגגנו לא רק את ההתקדמות של הילדים על המגרש, אלא גם את החברויות שנוצרו, את עבודת הצוות ואת כל הרגעים היפים שחווינו יחד.

לאורך השנה הילדים שיחקו, למדו, צחקו ודיברו יחד בעברית, בערבית ובאנגלית. הם הוכיחו שוב שספורט יכול לחבר בין אנשים, לקרב בין קהילות וליצור מרחב של כבוד, שותפות ושמחה.

תודה גדולה לילדים המדהימים, למשפחות, למאמנים, לצוות ולמתנדבים שהפכו את השנה הזו למיוחדת כל כך.

אנחנו כבר מחכים לשנה הבאה! 🎾

A huge thank you to Learn with Rena Shoshana Forester for leading two wonderful yoga sessions during our summer camp. 🧘

The sessions were relaxing, energetic and full of fun, but they also carried an important message: peace begins with each one of us.

Our Arab and Jewish children learned about breathing, balance, patience and taking a moment to become calm. They discovered that before we can create peace around us, we must also learn how to find peace within ourselves.

Thank you, Rina, for two truly special sessions.

Behind every successful summer camp is an amazing team of madrichim.

Our madrichim did much more than organise activities and look after the children. They became role models.

Through their own example, they showed the children how to laugh together, play together, support one another and work as one team.

They demonstrated that Jewish and Arab young people can cooperate naturally, respect each other and build genuine friendships, and that doing things together is not only possible, but enjoyable.

Children learn from what they see. This summer, they saw young leaders choosing partnership, kindness and friendship every day.

We are incredibly proud of our madrichim and grateful for the energy, warmth and commitment they brought to the camp. ❤️

What an amazing summer camp this has been!

There were so many special activities, but some moments really stood out. One of them was our MasterChef challenge.

The children were divided into teams and asked to work together to prepare three different dishes. Watching them plan, cut, mix, taste and present their food together, in both Arabic and Hebrew, was incredible.

They had to listen to one another, share tasks, solve problems and make decisions as a team. And, of course, they had a lot of fun along the way!

Sometimes shared society looks exactly like this: children standing around a table, creating something together and feeling proud of what they achieved.

We were delighted to welcome Canadian Ambassador Leslie Scanlon back to our Jewish-Arab Summer Camp for the second year running! 🎾

A true tennis fan, she joined the children on court for a game, and they were especially excited to line up for a photo with an ambassador!

Our heartfelt thanks to Leslie for her personal encouragement, and to the Embassy of Canada for supporting our summer camps for the second consecutive year.

🥉 Congratulations to Chagit Fieldman Marciano! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to congratulate **Chagit Feldman**, Head of Tennis at the Freddie Krivine Initiative, on winning the **Bronze Medal at the Maccabiah Games!**

Chagit's dedication, professionalism and passion for tennis inspire not only on the court but every single day through her work with our Jewish and Arab children. She leads by example, showing our young players that success is built on perseverance, discipline and heart.

This well-deserved achievement is a wonderful reflection of the values she brings to our programme every day.

"Some audience members struggled to reconcile that reality with what they believed about Israel. “One person asked, ‘Do Arab children have permission to play with Jews because of the apartheid?’” recalls her colleague, Lee Shira Wilson.

The pair were on a fundraiser tour for the Freddie Krivine Institute (FKI) in June, which aims to bring Jewish and Arab children together through sport. Wilson is the director, and Namle is the Arab social activities coordinator."
