Join our circular living Christmas Toy Swap today at the Scout den.
You can find us below Santa’s flag pole on Trafalgar road, where you’d be greeted by our massive Christmas tree Blacklion Christmas Trees, thank you Ciaran, which is decorated with our Beavers den-made decorations.
This is our last day, from 10:30-12:30, of the swap, details below, which our Venturers are running with the amazing Niamh.

Join us for the Christmas Toy Swap at our Scout Den (Trafalgar Rd, A63PA03) on Saturday 14th December 17:30-19:30 or Sunday 15th 10:30-12:30.

We have kindly received some early swap donations and, let me tell you, there is a wonderful selection of games, puzzles, teddies, sets, and books building up already. We’re so excited to see what gems will pass through our doors this weekend.

This event was inspired by the Big Toy Swap, an initiative by The Rediscovery Centre (https://www.rediscoverycentre.ie) and Jiminy Toys (https://jiminy.ie), which promotes sustainability and reusing pre-loved toys.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Toy Swap!

It’s a morning of trees down throughout the country, while at our den sleepover last night we had one tree down early this morning, at the side of the den, in the Trafalgar Road carpark. Later another one was erected (our Christmas Tree🎄) in front of the den, by our venturers, as the wind died off. All safe and well here and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas🎄🧑‍🎄

🎁 Declutter, Swap, and Spread the Joy! 🎄

Are your kids’ toy boxes already full? Are you dreading the avalanche of gifts arriving this Christmas? The *St Kilian’s Scouts Christmas Toy Swap* is the perfect chance to clear out the old and make way for the new —while spreading some festive cheer!

🗓️ When:
• Saturday, 14th December (17:30–19:30)
• Sunday, 15th December (10:30–12:30)

📍 Where:
St. Kilian’s Scout Den, Trafalgar Rd, A63 PA03

✨ How it works:
1. Bring along up to 5 gently used toys or books your family no longer needs (clean and in good condition).
2. Swap them for tokens to “shop” for some new-to-you treasures.
3. Any toys left over will be donated to a worthy cause, helping brighten the occasion for others less fortunate.

Some of our Cubs took part in the Three Trout Stream Habitat Restoration Day today - a community event supported by Greystones Tidy Towns, aiming at planting over 600 native trees in order to restore the natural habitat in the area where the Three Trout Stream reaches Greystones South Beach.
Well done Cubs on some super tree planting!
