We are a volunteer group hosting a free monthly gathering for people who are living with memory issues including dementia and their carers to come together and chat, share information, enjoy music all with tea and cake.

We had a lovely afternoon at the Wicklow Town Memory Cafe. Thank you to East Coast Credit Union on their talk on how to avoid Banking Fraud. I think we are a bit wiser now.
Many thanks also to Shay & John for their wonder music. It certainly got us on the dance floor. Well done to our talented singers! And again thank you all for coming and supporting us and making it such an enjoyable afternoon. We will keep you posted for the next one at the end of June.

Showing our support at the black castle this morning for the brave lads Jordan & Cian on their marathon challenge and raising awareness of Ftd Dementia. Well done to them and all who came out to support this part of their journey. We wish them well.

Another lovely afternoon at Wicklow Memory Cafe. Lots of tea and cake, music, song and dance was had.
Thank you to William Belton for providing the music and encouraging us all to get on the dance floor. Thank you to those who entertained us with a song... A very talented group we have coming!
Thank you also to Grainne Macklin Social Worker on her presentation on care packages and advanced care planning and for answering questions that people had.
Most of all thanks to everyone for coming and supporting. We hope you enjoyed the afternoon.

Reminder our next Wicklow Town memory cafe is on this Friday at 2pm. Come and enjoy this free event. Music is by William Belton, and Grainne Macklin Senior social worker from Wicklow hospice will talk about care packages and advanced care planning.
Open to all to people from all areas.... Come and have tea and cake, music and dance, chat and share information.
