We were delighted to be back this afternoon at the Wicklow Town Memory Cafe. Thanks to Aodan & Val from OPW & Azure for their wonderful interactive presentation of some Wicklow Murals! Two beautiful pieces which brought much discussion in the group. Thanks again to Shay & John for the music... and to those that got up to dance!
A lovely afternoon once again it was good to be back after the summer break.
Next Cafe is sept 25th.

Reminder we are back this Friday 28th of August 2pm for our afternoon of tea & cake, chat, music and dancing. We look forward to welcoming the OPW in conjunction with IMMA who will facilitate a very interactive discussion on some pieces of wicklow art you might recognise! And music is by the fabulous Shay & John.

Just posting this in case it is of benefit to anyone you know.

The dementia specific centre in Rathdrum is doing really well we now have 10 clients attending and have been giving the option of a second day if the demand is there so we really need the help of everyone to support us. I have attached my number if there is any question feel free to call me. There is also a bus available from Arklow. Just to add we also have a service in Bray every Thursday and Friday 10-3.these services are provided by The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Hope everyone enjoyed the good weather, we are back with the next Cafe on 28th of August at 2pm. We are delighted we will have with us members of the OPW/ Glendalough Visitor Center in conjunction with IMMA who will discuss some local wicklow Art.....this is a very interactive and unique experience and I think you will really enjoy it!
Of course there will be music and dancing by the fabulous Shay & John.
*Also the usual tea, cake and chat.

Another lovely afternoon at the Wicklow Town Memory Cafe.
Thank you to Siel Bleu who put the fun into exercise.... Well done to all!
After more tea and chat we had the amazing Wicklow Community Choir.... What amazing voices, and songs we all remembered and were able to sing along to. And some of us got up for a dance!

Wicklow town memory cafe is on this Friday 2-4pm. Siel Bleu coming to show us the benefits of keeping active no matter what our ability is and followed by Wicklow Community Choir. Plus our usual tea, cake and chat. See you all there!
