Fair play to Keith and all J. McDonald & Son Eng Ltd for providing our SOSAD Portlaoise sign for our office on the Abbeyleix Rd,

Thanks also to Michael Malone and the lads Connect for the neat job in placing same. Hopefully we'll be a bit easier to find from now on.

Remember we have a drop in centre if anyone needs to call for a cuppa and a chat.

Office is open, Mon 10am to 4pm, Tue 10am to 6am, Wed Thu 10am to 8pm, Fri 10am to 6pm.

Absolutely honoured to be presented with a donation of over €2200 from the staff at An Post Mail Centre, Portlaoise.

They took the time and the effort to participate in the Darkness in to Light Walk on the 9th of June on behalf of SOSAD Laois.

I was delighted also to get a tour of the centre and address the staff to thank them personally, and inform them about our low cost counselling service that is available here in Portlaoise.

Thank you so much to all at Mountmellick Macra Light Up Truck And Tractor Run for your sterling work in raising a whopping €23000 on behalf of SOSAD Laois. We were honoured to be the recipients of this donation and we witnessed first hand the amount of blood, sweat and tears, that went in to organising, what was a marvellous event bringing our community in Laois closer together.

Special thanks to Michael O'Gorman, Marie Tuohy and the committee at Mountmellick Macra.

This donation ensures that we can continue to provide our essential counselling and su***de intervention service to all those that need it, in Laois and the surrounding counties.
