We are delighted to announce that we have successfully reached our target of €5000. A huge thanks to everyone who donated funds and also all of our dedicated sunflowers volunteers who helped to plant, w**d and pick our beautiful sunflowers. A very special mention to Paul Brophy Produce who sourced our sunflower seeds and this year provided us with his Ferrari tractor to plant. Huge thanks to Nicola Kelly the Kildare Ambassador for Dogs for the Disabled and her forever companion Nemo

Today, Nicola had a special guest from Dogs for the Disabled - Jennifer Dowler called to see the Sunflowers and the wild flowers. For those of you who don’t know me, I'm Nicola Paquin , a native of Two Mile House, Kildare. At 44, I was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s, and thanks to a research project by the DNI and Dogs for the Disabled, I now have Nemo, my incredible assistance dog. Nemo has been a game-changer for my mobility and emotional well-being.

This year, the Mahon family has chosen "Dogs for the Disabled" as the charity for their "Sunflowers for Love" fundraiser. I’ve experienced firsthand the great work they do and am so thankful they have chosen this worthy cause - Irish Dogs for the Disabled.
