So how do I know if I have it?

Hello I’m Marita McGeady, Irlen Ireland.
Here are my Irlen Filters. I’ve worn variations of these for 40 years.

I’m a HomeEc. teacher and discovered I had Irlen Syndrome after years of
*misreading, *falling asleep and *losing concentration while reading.

I can read well, I’m creative, musical, energetic, motivated and practical….
But *bright lights *hurt my eyes, I had noted my reading *pace was slower than others.

My vision was excellent but often I *misread and my eyes wanted to *close as soon as I read from a white page.

By chance in my 30’s I discovered I had Irlen syndrome…., a lucky day for me.
