One of the most special moments of Relay for Life Westmeath is coming together to celebrate the incredible strength, courage and resilience of our cancer survivors. 🌟

We are delighted to invite all our cancer survivors to join us for our Survivors’ Lunch on Saturday 19th September from 12pm at Tyrrellspass GAA.

As we get ready for Relay for Life Westmeath, we’re looking for someone who may be able to loan us a generator for the weekend to help power our food trucks. 🌭🍔⚡️

Our candle bags are one of the most special parts of Relay for Life Westmeath.

Each bag is dedicated to someone special — someone we love, someone we remember, or someone who has faced cancer with incredible strength. 💜

As darkness falls, hundreds of candle bags will light up the Relay track, creating a beautiful sea of light and a powerful reminder that no one faces cancer alone.

✨ Standing together in hope for the future

You can dedicate a candle bag with a personal message or the name of someone special to you.

Our candle bags give us the opportunity to remember those we have lost, honour those living with cancer, and celebrate the incredible strength of survivors. Each candle represents a person, a story, a memory and a reason why we keep going. 💛

As darkness falls over the track, the candles will light up the night — creating a beautiful reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is always hope. ✨

For 24 hours, teams will come together to keep someone walking around the track, remembering those we have lost, celebrating survivors and showing support to everyone affected by cancer.
