We are truly overwhelmed to announce the final amount raised in memory of Elaine and are so deeply grateful for the incredible support shown throughout this fundraiser in honour of such a beautiful and much-loved person.

We have raised in the region of €175,000 which is simply extraordinary and reflects the immense respect, love and admiration so many people had for Elaine. The outpouring of kindness, generosity and support has meant more than words can ever express.

Thanks to the incredible generosity shown, we are delighted to share that, having exceeded our original target, we are now in a position to make donations to Friends of Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, Dochas and other charities.

Elaine’s family are sincerely thankful to every person who contributed, attended, volunteered or supported the fundraiser in any way. Your kindness and compassion during such a difficult time have brought enormous comfort and will never be forgotten.

The Climb for Elaine committee would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Anna Hynes and friends for their fantastic cake sale in the Bridge Centre, and to Breda McDonald and all the team at AIB Tullamore for hosting a coffee morning in support of our fundraiser.

Both of these wonderful events gave a significant boost to our fundraising total to date, and we are incredibly grateful for the kindness and support shown.

🧡 Climb for Elaine Update 🧡

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us so far - whether you climbed, donated, sponsored, shared a post, or helped in any way. The kindness and generosity shown has meant more than we can ever put into words.

Following the event, we are still in the process of gathering all sponsorship cards and final donations. This has meant a slight delay in confirming the final total raised, but we want to ensure that every contribution is accounted for properly.

🙏 If you still have a sponsorship card outstanding, we kindly ask that you return it to The Old Harbour Bar as soon as possible.

Once everything has been finalised, we will share a full update with the total amount raised, along with a proper thank you to everyone who made this possible.
