Expressions of Interest (EOI) are sought for new members aged 12+ interested in Water Safety Classes as we start a new term from the 1st of September. We meet in Aura Trim from 6pm on Monday evenings. Please advise all persons who may be interested in putting forward an EOI. Pupils should ideally be able to swim 100 metres front crawl and breast stroke unaided, but not essential.
WSI Meath teach the Water Safety Ireland Syllabus up to and including Pool Lifeguard. There are also opportunities advertised for persons to undertake additional trainings offered by Water Safety Ireland including Beach Lifeguard and Swim Teacher Instructor Courses.
Instructors are Water Safety Ireland qualified and are all volunteers. Any fees charged are to cover costs associated with running our classes. The cost per person is €75 per person per term, discounts available for siblings. Terms run Sept - Dec 2025 and Jan - May 2026.
What would I need? Swimming Shorts/Togs, Goggles, Swimming Hat, T-Shirt for the water.
