Working with AsIAm( Ireland's National Autism Charity) to make Trim an Autism Friendly town

17/08/2026

Come join us on September 25th in The Old Stand at 7pm where we will be hosting a charity head-shave. We have some amazing people who have kindly put themselves forward to have their Heads & Beards shaved off for two wonderful schools.

These schools are Kilbride NS and Scoil Naomh Padraig Trim and all funds raised will be going towards much needed resources for their Autism classes. This is a wonderful cause and will be of huge benefit to these beautiful children.

We have a great night of entertainment for you, including the head-shaving, Auction, raffles, food and live Music by Ken & Trevor. So if you are free please call in and help support this fundraiser and we will definitely have a bit of fun along the way. We really do appreciate everyone’s support.

Speaker announcement... Anne Hessman Neurodiversity Parent Coach.

We're delighted to welcome Anne Hessman to Let's Talk Autism, where she'll be closing the day with one of the most important conversations of allβ€”parental advocacy.

Anne will share practical advice on advocating for your child, navigating systems with confidence, and ensuring your child's voice and needs are heard. She'll also reflect on her own personal experience of finding the right educational setting for her children and the lessons she's learned along the way.

We'll finish with an open Q&A, giving parents the opportunity to ask questions, gain reassurance, and leave feeling informed, empowered, and ready to take the next steps on their own journey.

✨️ We couldn't think of a better way to end the day.
