On behalf of Clerihan Men's Shed, we wish to express our shock and sadness at the passing of our friend Jackie McGrath. Jackie was a great community activist. She collaborated with the Men's Shed on a number of projects, the most recent being the weekly bingo. Jackie was kind and friendly. We will miss her drive, commitment, but most of all, her sense of fun. We wish to offer our condolences to her husband Richie and to her children, Rachel, Megan, Sam, and Richard. We would also like to offer our condolences to her mom, extended family, and her many friends.

Rest in peace and thank you from a community blessed by your presence

Clerihan Mens Shed has suffered a loss this week following the passing of our dear friend and fellow shedder Tom Barry. Tom passed away on the 2nd of May following an illness he faced with bravery and dignity.

Tom, who joined the Shed shortly after its foundation last year, became a popular and valued member of our group. He had a great love of running and cycling, often achieving a personal best. This is an analogy for how Tom lived his life as he strived to be the best version of himself in every aspect of life.

We wish to offer our condolences to Tom's wife Maria, his daughter Aislinn, the Barrys, the O'Donnells, and all of Tom's friends.

As we go forward in Clerihan Mens Shed, our achievements will be part of Tom's legacy. He gave so much in the short time that he spent with our group.
