A massive congratulations to Madelines Accommodation on the official opening of their six gorgeous new guest rooms! 🎉✨
Today marks a truly special milestone for them, and we couldn’t be happier to see our local businesses thriving. Our very own Tidy Towns Chairman is leading by example here, showing just how much care and hard work goes into making our village a wonderful place to visit and stay.
Speaking of making the village beautiful—have you seen the flower baskets outside? 🌸🌼 They look absolutely amazing and really light up the entire street!

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Rosemary Smyth for her wonderful work in planting this beautiful new flower bed at Lugduff. It is a fantastic addition to the area and brings a lovely splash of colour to everyone passing by.

A massive thank you to Cal Nolan, who lives in Beechwood Drive, for doing such a wonderful job planting up this beautiful new flowerbed just outside the estate. It has absolutely brightened up the entrance and brought a lovely splash of colour to the neighbourhood. We love seeing this kind of community spirit!

🌟 Heartful of Joy After a Wonderful Saturday! 🌟
We are still absolutely bursting with happiness and overwhelmed by the wonderful positive emotions following our event this past Saturday! Our hearts are so full seeing how our community came together with such warmth and enthusiasm.
There is a beautiful saying that perfectly captures the spirit of our town: "On our own, we are just one; but together, we are a community." Saturday was a shining example of that togetherness and friendship.

Our Wonderful Organisers & Volunteers: To everyone who gave up their time to plan, set up, and keep the event running smoothly — your dedication is the backbone of everything we do.
Our Amazing Bakers & Hosts: To the lovely people who baked and brought along the most delicious treats, and kept everyone going with endless cups of tea and coffee. Our sincere apologies if we missed anyone by name, you know who you are! Your incredible hospitality made the morning feel so welcoming and cosy.
The Men’s Shed: A special shout-out to the brilliant crew from the Men’s Shed for their fantastic support, hard work, and for always being ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
The Courthouse Arts Centre: Huge thanks for hosting us and providing such a perfect space for our community to gather.

A very special milestone for a true Tinahely gentleman! 🌟
We would like to wish a massive Happy 103rd Birthday to the wonderful Birdy (Peter) Dunne, who has just celebrated this incredible milestone! 🎂🎈
Born in 1923, Birdy is an absolute treasure to our village, full of past stories and history. He is currently residing in Carnew Nursing Home, and we know he would love to hear from his home community.
Sending Birdy the warmest birthday wishes, love from everyone in Tinahely and the wider community. We are all thinking of you, Birdy! ❤️ Let’s all wish him well in the comments below! 👇

🌟 More like a family than a community! 🌟
Our hearts are absolutely full today! ❤️ A massive, heartfelt thank you to every single person who stepped through the doors of the Courthouse Arts Centre Tinahely yesterday for our Coffee Morning. A special thanks to the Courthouse committee and all the staff for their continued support of the Tinahely Tidy Towns. Seeing everyone chatting, catching up, and sharing a laugh felt less like a public event and more like a big family gathering.
We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful local businesses for their amazing donations—your generosity never ceases to amaze us. And to our phenomenal Tinahely Tidy Towns volunteers and everyone who baked, brewed coffee, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes: you are the heartbeat of this place.
Yesterday showed that we aren't just neighbours; we are a family looking out for one another.
Alone we are one, together we are a community.
