Our dear friend Geraldine Flynn, and long time supporter of Izzy'B, has decided to celebrate her milestone birthday in a very special way!

Is anyone looking for last minute stocking fillers to get kids of screens and outside having fun?

Charlie (IzzyB's Supersib) and her 2 TY classmates from Scoil Mhuire Strokestown, designed a Smashed It! Sports Journal, as their Student Enterprise, they were inspired to create their own anti-journal after one of their sisters received the American book “Wreck This Journal” as a gift.

They designed a book featuring a collection of suggestions, asking readers to release any sporting frustrations they may be feeling - and use their mess-making abilities to destroy the “Smashed it Sport Journal'', through a series of quirkily illustrated prompts
The book has prompts for a range of different sports, for kids of all abilities.

The journal is ideal for kids aged 7 to 13 year olds.
They have an offer at the moment 1 book for €15 or 2 books for €25 and will post nationwide.

We know we haven't posted in a while, thank god everything is going well, but we are looking for your support if you can.

This day 2 weeks, the second day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I will face my fear of heights and abseil of Croke Park for .😰

My little heroes at home challenged me to overcome my fear of heights to help other families on the childhood cancer rollercoaster journey.

I am honoured to support this amazing charity, which strives so hard to support Irish families affected by childhood cancer.

9 years ago, my family was directly touched by childhood cancer when we heard the words, 'we are sorry, but your daughter has cancer.'

Since that day, cancer and the side effects of treatments have been a constant fear in our lives.
I know first-hand the shock and devastation a diagnosis brings to the whole family.
I really want to help and support others, living with this fear and, even worse, the devastating loss of their children.

Did you meet Adam another .
He, his family and community are running a great event for 2 very worthy causes on May Bank Holiday Monday from Fuerty GAA to coincide with the start Brain Tumour Awareness Month.
Adam was dianogised with a Brain Tumour around the same time as IzzyB was in treatment.
Unfortunately he has relapsed but he is not letting it stop him.
He has set his mind to helping other children affected by Childhood Cancer.
Adam's determination, courage and strength is true inspiring.

The global community for childhood cancer is linked beyond geography, beyond language and beyond political preference. Children are suffering unnecessarily in Ukraine - 🇺🇦 This is so so wrong.😭

SIOP stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, the healthcare workers caring for children and adolescents with cancer and all others supporting patients and their families, or affected by the widespread violence and destruction caused by the Russian military invasion.

A huge thank you to everyone for your lovely messages the last few days and sorry I havent had a chance to message everyone back. Surgery went well they got it all out.
She is being so well looked after by the wonderful team here in CHI again.

She's mending now and in good form after a visit from one of her special friends from St. Johns Ward, looking forward to getting home to daddy and her sisters.
