We’re delighted to see the Residents’ Pre-Sale making a real difference for our local community. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes, so it’s lovely to see it recognised 🥳

Electric Picnic 2027 appears to have sold out in around an hour – with the full allocation of approximately 80,000 tickets snapped up following huge demand this morning.

📧 Please check your inbox and junk/spam folder for your residents’ pre-sale email.
⚠️ Please only use the code contained in the email sent by us.
Ticketmaster loyalty customer codes will NOT work in the Residents’ pre-sale. If you are eligible for loyalty, this has already been factored into the Residents’ code sent by Festival Republic.

🎪 WHAT A NIGHT! 💙💛
Last night, the Electric Picnic Residents Committee held our annual Residents’ Social Night in Dunnes, and what an absolutely incredible night.

We had over 160 people join us and the atmosphere from start to finish was absolutely electric ⚡🎶

A massive thank you to Martleys of Portlaoise | Laois for very kindly providing three buses for the evening. Your generosity and support was hugely appreciated and helped make the night such a success.

A very special thank you to the Festival Republic team for taking everyone on a fantastic bus tour of the Electric Picnic site. They gave our residents a brilliant insight into everything happening across the site, chatting about the festival, the different areas, the bands and what everyone can expect over the weekend.

A huge thank you also to Sylvester and The Grandstand for the incredible food and to the three fantastic young ladies who helped serve everyone. They did an amazing job looking after such a large crowd ❤️

To Dick and all the staff at Dunnes Pub thank you for hosting us and looking after everyone so brilliantly.

And of course, John Maher was on the tunes and certainly kept the place hopping! 🎸

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who came along. To see 160+ local residents together enjoying themselves and kicking off Electric Picnic week was really special.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped, supported, served, drove, entertained, organised and attended.
What a night, what an atmosphere and what a way to kick off EP26! 🎪⚡

📞 ELECTRIC PICNIC RESIDENTS’ HOTLINE

A dedicated Residents’ Hotline will be available throughout the Electric Picnic weekend for local residents to report any festival-related issues or concerns.

☎️ RESIDENTS’ HOTLINE: 01 255 5178

The hotline can be used for issues including event-related noise, security incidents, inappropriate parking or difficulties entering the festival.

🕛 Operational:
12 noon – midnight
Friday 28th – Sunday 30th August

Please save the number to your phone now so you have it to hand over the weekend, and contact the hotline as soon as an issue arises.

CORK ROAD & TIMAHOE ROAD RESIDENTS
A reminder to all Cork Road and Timahoe Road residents to please ensure your car hanger is fully filled in and completed, and that your resident sticker is clearly visible at all times.

🚗 ADDITIONAL RESIDENT CAR PASSES AVAILABLE

We have a small number of additional car passes available for residents in Stradbally and surrounding areas.

📍 St. Colman’s National School, Stradbally
📅 Friday
⏰ Doors open at 7pm

Car passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and numbers are very limited.

Please note:
Committe Members DO NOT have passes.
No passes will be issued before 7pm.
Passes limited to 2 per person
ID will be required

🚗 EP26 CARER CAR PASSES 🚗
The Electric Picnic Residents Committee has an extremely limited number of Carer Car Passes available for carers who need access to clients in Stradbally and surrounding areas to provide essential services during the festival.

⚠️ These car passes are strictly for ESSENTIAL SERVICES and are EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please only apply where access is genuinely necessary to provide care or another essential service.

If you work for one of the following organisations, you DO NOT need to contact us individually:
• Connected Health
• Muiriosa Foundation
• Embrace
• Droimnín Nursing Home
• Bluebird Care
• Comfort Keepers
• Meals on Wheels
• HSE Carers
• Atlantic Care
We have already been in contact with these organisations and your employer will be receiving Carer Car Passes for staff who require them.

👉 If you work for a care company or organisation that is NOT listed above, please ask your employer to contact Kellie Kearney via WhatsApp on 085 280 1049. Please do not have individual staff members apply separately your employer should contact us on behalf of the organisation.

🚨 Important: A Carer Car Pass does not give permission to travel through a Garda or emergency road closure. Any closures put in place for health, safety or emergency reasons must be observed.

🚧 Electric Picnic Residents Update 🚧

Fencing has now started to be erected in and around Stradbally ahead of Electric Picnic 2026.

Work will continue over the coming days, with all fencing expected to be in place by the end of the week.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these preparations are underway.

A dedicated Residents’ Information webpage is now live, bringing together important information for local residents, including access, traffic, parking, noise, security, clean-up and more.

📖 RESIDENTS’ INFORMATION BOOKLETS
FR have also produced 1,600 hard-copy EP26 Residents’ Information Booklets, containing the key information residents may need over the festival period.
Booklets will be available when collecting residents’ tickets. We’ll also distribute copies to local shops and businesses throughout Stradbally and surrounding areas, including Ratheniska, Vicarstown and Timahoe, so people who may not be online can access the information too.

The official Garda Road Traffic Plan for Electric Picnic 2026 is also available online and contains detailed information on traffic management and restrictions around the festival.
