Today, we’re proud to support National Guide Dog Day 🐾

For every cup of tea or coffee sold, we’ll donate to a brilliant charity dedicated to empowering people who are blind or vision impaired, as well as families of children with autism, through the provision of highly trained guide and assistance dogs. These dogs offer life-changing support, fostering independence, mobility, and confidence in daily life.

It’s important to note that under Irish equality legislation, guide and assistance dog owners have the legal right to access businesses and services without discrimination. Unfortunately, entry refusals still occur, particularly in sectors like hospitality and we can only imagine the impact this has on those affected.

At Honestly, assistance and guide dogs are always very welcome! Today and all weekend anyone with an assistance or guide dog will get a cuppa on the house and a doggy treat so come and see us!
