Trucking for Cancer

Hi guys, we’re wondering if you can help us out!
We’re currently planning something exciting and hoping to bring together a car community from every county in Connacht 🚗🔥
To make it happen, we need your help — if you know anyone involved in the car scene in any Connacht county, please get in touch with us or tag them below.
We’d love to connect with as many communities as possible.
Thanks a million for the support! 🙌

At Trucking for Cancer, we never quit. 💛

This time, we’re proud to support Daisy Lodge, the Cancer Fund for Children centre in Cong, Co. Mayo. We’re looking to bring together the amazing Cars & Coffee community—along with as many trucks as possible—to help us organise a special event in support of this incredible cause.

Every cent raised will go directly to Daisy Lodge, helping families who are going through the unimaginable.

We’re all parents, and we know how hard it is to even think about a child being sick. That’s why we’re asking for your support—whether you’re part of a car group, a truck owner, or just someone who wants to help make a difference.

Let’s come together, make this event happen, and show what this community can do when it rallies behind a cause that truly matters.

If you can help or want to get involved, please reach out. Let’s make it happen. 🚛☕

Say what you want about truck drivers, but I’ve got to give respect where it’s due. What this man did really stood out to me—it took decency, awareness, and heart. Moments like this remind us that you can’t judge a whole group by a few bad examples. There are good people everywhere, and today was a 😜 good reminder of that. 👏

Beautiful Story 👏🇮🇪

I asked you yesterday to put up a private message support for the protesters on behalf of my Dad (85), a retired truck driver, who was attending UHL for a chemotherapy appointment today.

One of the men on the protest, Michael Croker reached out to me and asked if they could help get my Dad to his appointment on time.

He spoke with the other truckers and arranged for my Dad to be escorted to the hospital in one of the trucks. His pal, Jason O Connor collected my Dad in his beautiful truck, brought him down on to the motorway and with the kind help also of An Gárda, the sailed along the motorway to the sounds of support from the horns of all the other trucks. "A Nod From One Trucker To Another".
Not only did they take him along the motorway, but brought him to the door of the hospital.

Their gesture of kindness, which cost them nothing, was priceless to my Dad. And to get to travel once again in a truck especially at this time in his life was amazing.

So Michael, Jason and all of the men and women in the trucks and Garda car.... thank you so much. You made my Dad very happy today x ,❤️

Trucking for Cancer

We stand fully behind everyone involved in Ireland’s fuel protest. Without the dedication and hard work of these men and women, our daily lives would not be possible. They are standing up for every person across Ireland, and we have the utmost respect for their efforts.

At Trucking for Cancer, we are committed to supporting this cause. Our truck, The Silver Bullet, will be joining the convoys in solidarity.

We encourage everyone to stand together and support those involved. Much like the fight against cancer, it is through unity, strength, and perseverance that we move forward—always keeping sight of the goal ahead.

Hi folks, James from Trucking for Cancer here.
I just want to ask everyone to please take a few minutes to check yourselves. We recently had a health scare, and thank God it turned out not to be serious. But it was a real reminder that early checks matter. It only takes five minutes and can save you from a lot down the road. Please take care of yourselves. 🙏
Thank guys James,
