That's some length of service in one photo.

Between the three of them, they have given an incredible **120 years of combined service** to the State and the people of Ireland. That represents countless hours of volunteering, training, responding to emergencies, and always being there when their communities needed them most.

A huge well done to all three of them. Your commitment, dedication and selfless service are something to be proud of, and an example to us all.

To every volunteer who gives up their time to help others, often without recognition, thank you. You are the backbone of organisations like ours, and your service makes a real difference every single day.

Always great to share and pass on skills with other Units

Our own Divisional Commander Willie Bligh was in attendance and presented Lar with his 30-year gong. Congratulations to Lar on his length of service and his outstanding contribution to Dublin Civil Defence and the organisation as a whole.

Lar leaves behind a great legacy and a very competent unit, shaped by his leadership, knowledge, and dedication over many years. His influence and standards will continue to be felt for a long time to come.

We wish Lar every health and happiness in his retirement.
