A full house for our final get-together of the year this past Tuesday evening with a fantastic and insightful talk with Kevin from Everyday OT Ireland 👏
The session was packed with practical advice and invaluable insights, giving our parents so much great information and food for thought to take away!

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO JOE’S BOOK WORMS! 💙
Earlier this year, the wonderful Joe’s Book Worms got in touch with L***A with the amazing idea of raising funds for our families through their annual charity hike, and what an incredible job they did!
On 18th July, the Joe’s Book Worms team, along with their families, friends and colleagues, gathered in the beautiful Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare, for a fantastic day of adventure, friendship and fundraising, all in support of L***A families. 🥰
This was the 6th year of their annual hike, where the group comes together each year to raise money for different charities, and we feel incredibly honoured that L***A was chosen this year.
On 30th August, our Chairperson Jackie Winders and Events Manager Lizzy Walton had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jinu John and Jarleth Moore in Birr, Co. Offaly, for the cheque presentation.

And what a presentation it was…

🎉 €3,050 RAISED FOR L***A! 🎉
We honestly cannot thank everyone involved enough. A donation of €3,050 can go an incredibly long way for our families and could help provide up to 88 subsidised therapy sessions for L***A families. 💙
Every euro raised helps us continue supporting our families and providing access to therapies and supports that can make such a meaningful difference.
Jarleth & Jinu, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity and for choosing L***A this year. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the wonderful people behind Joe’s Book Worms.
We may have started out as strangers, but we certainly feel like we have made two new friends for life!
And to everyone who took part in the hike, donated, supported, organised, shared and helped make the day such a success, THANK YOU!
