We are so grateful we got to be apart of this years Pride Run Dublin Front Runners it was an amazing event and seeing the amount of people who came to take part was uplifting. We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone involved 💕🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

This is such a significant milestone in Ireland’s journey towards equality and justice 🏳️‍🌈💕✨

Following years of advocacy, the Dáil has passed legislation that will allow convictions for consensual same-sex activity under former anti-gay laws to be formally disregarded. While it cannot undo the harm caused, it is an important acknowledgment of past wrongs and a meaningful step towards restoring dignity to those affected.

This could not have been achieved without the incredible efforts of activists in our community like LGBT Disregard

What’s on this week (June 8th - June14th) starting us off we have our online trans social on the 9th of June!

Following that on Thursday we will be in outhouse handing out the runner packs and then on Friday we will be in Phoenix Park supporting at the Pride 5k run

Finishing off the week we have our Westmeath social on June 13th

23 organisations. One shared vision for the future of equality in Ireland.

Together with a nationwide coalition of LGBTQI+ groups, we have submitted a joint report to the United Nations ahead of Ireland’s human rights review this November. By bringing together current research, analysis and real lived experiences, our submission aims to serve as a wake up call and provide a constructive roadmap for the future - offering 33 recommendations in areas like safety, healthcare, and education. We look forward to engaging in the review and working collaboratively to build an even more inclusive Ireland where every member of our community feels respected, connected, supported, and valued for exactly who they are.

These classes are suitable for beginners or anyone who took part in our last sessions and wants to continue their fitness journey

We are so excited to be marching in the Dublin Pride parade again this year and would love for you to join us! If you want to come just fill out the google form linked in our bio

We will be meeting in a cafe beforehand to have breakfast and take some pics before we head in to the amazing q***r chaos of the day so if you’re a bit nervous about coming along or don’t feel up to marching you can still be involved! Pride Month is upon us 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈💕and we have a packed schedule of events

On June 5th we have our Trans Social in Laois and on June 9th we have our Online Trans Social

On the 11th of June we will be heading up to Dublin to hand out the packs for the runners for the Dublin Pride Run and then on the 12th we will be up supporting the runners as they tackle the Pride Run

Following on from that we have our Westmeath social on the 13th of June

Then on the 16th of June we will have our Offaly social, a visit to the Bard’s Rest board game cafe in Tullamore, and we will also have our Kildare social on the 16th of June, a nice evening of standup paddle boarding.

On the 18th of June we will have our second meeting after the relaunch of our Maynooth book club

We will be starting up another round of Strength and Conditioning classes in Kildare on the 21st of June and then on the 25th of June we will be having our Trans social in Athlone

And finally we will be up in Dublin again for D**e March on June 26th and Dublin Pride parade on June 27th, if you would like to join us for the parade there is a link in our bio

With Pride season about to kick off 🏳️‍🌈✨🏳️‍⚧️ we wanted to thank the Pride at Work team for having our staff member, Liam, and the chair of Laois Pride, Helen, for their first residential workshop

It was an amazing event and it was so lovely to meet all the different pride committees from around the country
