Donations of t shirts or sweatshirts, flannel, thread, socks of all sizes are needed. If you can sew and would like to help, let us know. Cold weather is coming. If you can't get hold of Christy Sims ,reach out to me or Rebecca S Middleton
I know everyone is having a tough time with all that's going on but we are luckier than a lot of people. Some of us want to do all we can to help so with that being said I will be at the VFW Monday October 7 collecting T-shirts to make blankets with and socks for anyone who needs them. I know what is possible when we ask for help from the Tuckasegee community. I have always been thankful to live in such a giving community. So if anyone would like to donate tshirts, thread, fleece for backing please come by the VFW Monday October 7th from 8am until who knows. You might even get to see some of us using sewing machines. If there's anyone who would like to help stop by. Together we will make a difference one T-shirt at a time. If you have shirts you would like to donate and can't make it Monday let me know I will arrange a time to come and get them.
