In recent weeks the community council were delighted to receive a cheque from the Newcastle Community First Responders. The cheque for €500, the proceeds of their recently run first aid course was a donation to the Lourdes Fund. This funds allows the community council to send an ill or recovering from illness parishioner to Lourdes. A big thank you to this group of volunteers who give medical support, when required by the National Ambulance Service, to parishioners and to the surrounding areas.

PROCEEDS OF RECENT COFFEE MORNING.
Tonight at our monthly meeting, Chairperson Marian O Dwyer presented a cheque for €1,700 to Agnes O' Donoghue, Treasurer of the Clonmel Daffodil Day Group. Also in attendance was Joan Ambrose and local lady Kathleen O' Keeffe. Thanks to all who supported the coffee morning, those who baked and those of you who donated. The committee were delighted to make this presentation on your behalf.
