💜 That’s a wrap from Team Nicole! 💜
Relay For Life South County Dublin is finished for another year — and what a weekend it was.

With hearts full and legs sore (especially the bear’s 🧸), we’re proud to be part of a community that raised an incredible €53,015 for the Irish Cancer Society.

A massive well done to all 16 amazing teams who came together with love, laughter, tears, and torchlight to support cancer services that help so many families — just like ours.

Nicole, you continue to walk with us every step of the way. 🌟
Roll on Relay 2026. Team Nicole will be ready. 🟣💪

🐻💜 A Message from Relay Bear 💜🐻
– Team Nicole’s Smallest Walker with the Biggest Heart –

Hi everyone! It’s me — Relay Bear 🧸

I might be little, but I had the BIGGEST weekend ever walking the track with Team Nicole at Relay for Life South County Dublin.

From the moment my paws hit Corkagh Park, I was blown away by the love, the colour, the laughter — and the incredible support from so many kind hearts.

Together, 16 amazing teams walked, cheered, danced, donated, hugged, and remembered. I want to send a bear-sized THANK YOU to:

🐾 All the teams who made the track feel like home
🐾 The volunteers and organisers who worked nonstop behind the scenes
🐾 The Candle of Hope crew for the magical night-time glow
🐾 The Dublin Gospel Choir and Nicole’s Mam Colette for a ceremony I’ll never forget
🐾 The friends, families, and even fellow teddies who showed up to support

And guess what? Team Nicole raised €7,370 — and the event total soared past €50,000! That’s a whole lot of hope packed into 24 hours 💛

I might be taking a nap now, but I’ll be back next year, hat on and ready to go again.

💜 We Did It – 24 Hours for Nicole 💜
€7,250 Raised | 120 Amazing Supporters | 1 Incredible Team

Team Nicole completed the 24-hour Relay for Life this weekend — and what a powerful, emotional, and uplifting experience it was.

Over 120 people joined us across the weekend — family, friends, dogs… and even a teddy bear! 🧸💛
Together, we’ve helped raise a phenomenal €7,250, bringing the total for the entire event to over €40,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.

Some of our highlights:
✨ The amazing energy and kindness from all 16 teams walking the track
🕯️ The moving Ceremony of Hope, featuring the Dublin Gospel Choir and a heartfelt poem read by Nicole’s Mam, Colette
👣 Alan (pink hat & socks!), Abbie, and Jemma walked the full 24 hours — Alan alone clocked 54,000 steps on day one and 55,124 on day two!
🌙 Shane took on the overnight shift, keeping the Team Nicole spirit going strong through the early hours
👭 Seeing so many of Nicole’s friends come along to honour her memory — including Timi and Nikki, who brought such warmth and love
💞 Both Yvonne’s families were out in force with fantastic support
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A special thank you to the Maguire family, who came along in great numbers and helped lift the atmosphere even more

We’re so grateful for the love and support shown to us as a family again this year. Nicole’s light continues to shine through every step we take — and every person who walks beside us.

We are blown away… Team Nicole has already raised an amazing €6,000 — and Relay for Life hasn’t even started yet!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has donated, supported, and shared our journey. Your kindness and generosity are helping us honour Nicole’s memory and support the Irish Cancer Society in a truly meaningful way.

This weekend, we walk with love, pride, and purpose — every step for Nicole, and for everyone affected by cancer.

Guess who’s packed his tiny runners and is ready to walk?
It’s Relay Bear, the newest (and fluffiest) member of Team Nicole!

He may be small, but he’s mighty — say hello to our Relay for Life Team Nicole Teddy! 🐻

Dressed in his Relay t-shirt and full of team spirit, he’s ready to walk, pose for photos, and spread smiles all weekend long.

📸 Keep an eye out for him at Corkagh Park — and don’t forget to grab a selfie or two!

He’ll be with us all weekend at Corkagh Park, keeping spirits high and paws moving as we walk in memory of Nicole. He’s already had a cuppa, checked his t-shirt, and is counting down the hours to the big event!

We’ll be sharing his adventures during the 24-hour event, so tag if he pops up in your photos!

🎉 This Saturday – Relay for Life Begins! 💜

The big day is nearly here — Relay for Life 2025 kicks off this Saturday at 1PM and runs right through to Sunday at 1PM, and Team Nicole will be walking every step with love and purpose.

There’s still time to come along — whether it’s to walk a lap, visit our stand, light a candle bag, or just show your support.
