A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the final Ross Nugent Foundation Golf Day at Powerscourt. The event was a huge success and we are so proud to have had the wonderful support of everyone involved. Thank you to all the sponsors, the wonderful staff at Powerscourt, our incredible committee members who worked tirelessly on the day and to everyone who took part in the event. We did Ross proud.

We are looking forward to welcoming 160 golfers to the Ross Nugent Foundation Golf Day in the beautiful Powerscourt Golf Club on Friday 14th August.

Thank you to all the players who have signed up and we look forward to presenting some amazing prizes on the day.

A huge thank you to Malahide Camera Club for organising a fantastic table quiz in aid of the Ross Nugent Foundation.

Tickets will be available at the door on the night for €10 per person. This is sure to be a brilliant evening with lots of laughs and amazing raffle prizes to be won.

Thank you to Caitlin McNeill and PJ Caffrey who raised an amazing €7,121 in support of the Ross Nugent Foundation. Caitlin is attending Beaumont Hospital and both Caitlin and PJ wanted to show their appreciation for the equipment provided by the Ross Nugent Foundation as this has helped to make Caitlin’s and her family’s journey more comfortable. Thank you from all at the Foundation and we will continue with our efforts to ease the stress on treatment days.

We were recently contacted by the wonderful family of Karl Kirby. Karl sadly passed away 5 years ago from brain tumour when he was only 17. His family told us that the equipment donated to Beaumont Hospital by the Ross Nugent Foundation was a huge comfort to Karl, especially the Glade where he chose to have his treatment. Karl’s friend, Jack, recently took part in the Waterford Marathon and chose to raise funds for the Ross Nugent Foundation. They raised a staggering €7,380 and for this we are so incredibly grateful. Thank you to Jack, Lucy and Karl’s family and to everyone who donated. We are so appreciative and ensure that funds raised will go a long way towards helping us to keep our promise to Ross: to make life more comfortable for the patients, relations and nursing staff.

We have recently been contacted by the family of Karl Kirby. Karl sadly passed away almost 5 years ago in St Clare's ward in Beaumont hospital. His wonderful family contacted us telling us how much Karl enjoyed using the Glade as his escape during his treatment. They told us it was an oasis of calm for him and for them. This warmed our hearts as this is exactly what we had envisioned when we were undertaking the project.

His amazing friend Jack has decided to complete the Waterford marathon in June in Karl's memory and his family kindly nominated the Ross Nugent Foundation as the chosen charity. We would be so grateful if you could support Jack, Karl and Karl's family by donating using the link below.
