📣 Graveyard Cleanup – This Thursday at 7:00pm 📣

As we prepare for Graveyard Sunday in Maghery this weekend, we'd love to see as many people as possible come along this Thursday at 7:00pm to help tidy and care for our loved ones' graves.

While you're there, if you notice a grave that may no longer have family nearby or anyone able to look after it, a small act of kindness by giving it a wee tidy or clearing away some weeds would be a lovely gesture. It means so much to ensure every resting place is cared for and remembered.

If you can't make it on Thursday, feel free to call in any evening to do a wee spruce up.

Many hands make light work, and every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Michael, Mick and Breda in the Strand Bar Maghery for their support with the excellent Flower Pots that have been installed in Maghery. 💚🙏🏼

We would also like to thank everyone who helped install them, clean up the Looby and make the entrance into the village ready for our festival next weekend. A special word of mention to Rohán Boyle for helping to instal them and also working on various projects 🤩

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Gráinne and Roseann from BSG An Clochán Liath and to Rosses CDP for their support with the wonderful corner garden, the beautiful flags, and the excellent signage that has been installed in Maghery.

We would also like to thank Christopher Doherty, Rohan Boyle, Gary Gallagher, James Doherty, Pauric O’Donnell, Karl Doherty and especially Noel Wallace.
